CAPTAIN JAMES COOK RN
1728-1779

Not to be confused with several US and merchant navy Captain James Cook's who engaged in trade along the US east coast at various times in the 18th & 19th Centuries. There are no direct male descendants of Captain James Cook RN, as none of his sons had children, thus no one with the surname COOK can claim direct descent from him.

Try this site for more Captain Cook Links on Michael Dickinson's pages. Michael is related by descent from the Captain's sister Margaret who married James FLECK.

Link to Australian National Maritime Museum Another Captain Cook related site (for the Endeavour replica) will now be found via this link to the Australian National Maritime Museum; where she is now home-ported, following her hand-over by the Endeavour Barque Foundation, the people who built her, down the road from us in Fremantle.
